Testing techniques

-The least effective test Technique for me is Dictation.Is when one person reads aloud a particular text while other people listen and write down what is being said.

-The most effective technique for me is Cloze. Is a kind of examination practice usually used on students who take up English as a second language. In a cloze, a student may be asked to read a passage and then he is asked to fill in the key words which are missing or deleted from the same passage when it is given to him in the form of a test.

Three other ways to evaluate:
Multiple choice:Is a form of assessment in which respondents are asked to select the best possible answer ( or answers) out of the choices from a list.
Gap- filling: Is an exercise in which words are removed from a text and replaced with spaces. The learner has to fill each space with the missing word or the suitable word.
Debate: Is a contest , or perhaps, like a game, where two or more speakers present their arguments intent on persuading one another.
